Robert Kerr

Robert Kerr received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arkansas, which included a 5 month Urban Study in Rome, Italy. He received a Masters of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology, where he won several awards for design excellence.

After working on museum and installation projects at Hodgetts + Fung Architecture and Design in Santa Monica, he worked as a project architect for Clive Wilkinson Architects. Projects included conceptual design through construction administration on the 110,000 sq. ft. headquarters for the TBWA/Chiat/Day advertisement agency in Playa del Rey, and the redesign of the TBWA/Chiat/Day offices in New York. Following that, Robert worked for Koning Eizenberg Architecture as a Project Architect, with responsibilities including the recent Los Angeles Farmers Market/The Grove expansion. Since 2003 Robert has been principal of ROBERT KERR architecture design, Inc.

Additionally, Robert was a member of the creative team on the 1996 Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies, the 1997 Hong Kong Handover Celebration and the Super Bowl XXXIII Halftime Show.

Robert has been a Visiting Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology (2000), and since 2005 has been an Adjunct Professor in the College of Architecture at Woodbury University in Burbank, California. After serving 8 years on the University of Arkansas’ Professional Advisory Board to the College of Architecture, Robert is a current member of the Dean's Circle.

Robert is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is a licensed architect in California and Georgia.

Hailey Soren and Robert Kerr teamed up in 2015 to design the beach house on Ocean Avenue that earned the AIA (Ventura County) Residential Honor, Interior Design Kitchen & Bath Best of Year Winner, Interior Design Beach House Finalist, and the Coverings Residential Grand Prize. The project was also published in interior design magazine and ‘My Cool Kitchen’.

Hailey Soren

Hailey Soren spent the first three years of her undergraduate experience at California Polytechnic State University. She then transferred to the Southern California Institute of Architecture where she earned her bachelor of Architecture degree. These two school experiences provided a unique combination of both rigorous technical and progressive design experience.

After working on residential and commercial projects at Kohn Architects and Carson Architects, she worked as a project architect for Clive Wilkinson Architects. Projects included conceptual design through construction administration on Google's 500,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Mountain View as well as headquarters for JWT in NYC, and retail spaces for Quiksilver. in addition Hailey acted as the project architect and lead designer on a new library space for FIDM in Los Angeles that was published in Interior Design Magazine, and went on to win the AIA/CAE Award of Excellence, the AIA Los Angeles Design Merit Award, and the FX International Interior Design Award.

In addition to architecture and interior design Hailey has done branding/identity, research, graphic design, photography, and publication work for several companies. Hailey often incorporates her love for graphics and color in her interior design work mixing textiles textures and colors, as well as creating custom wallpaper and fabrics.
